We offer something never done before by any Cialdini Licensed Trainer: Our Applied Persuasion Roundtable session as an added service to our Cialdini Certified Practitioner course graduates. The aim is to dive deep into your practical application skills after graduation, to provide advice and insights and build your confidence and momentum.
For students who attended one of our publicly available Cialdini Certified Practitioner courses with live training, this is included with their investment.
What to bring to a Applied Persuasion Roundtable?
We have no set lesson plan for the Applied Persuasion Roundtable sessions. You bring content with your examples and projects. What do we mean?
You’ve heard the theory from Dr Cialdini and from Patrick van der Burght or perhaps one of the other Licensed Trainers and Coaches. You’re practised during the practitioner course to develop strategies for your influence challenge, but now you’re ‘out there’ doing it yourself… but are you actually using it?
Are you using your persuasion skills in the most effective way?
Here are topics we’d like you to bring to the Applied Persuasion Roundtable for us all to discuss:
- USED: Show us examples of where you think you have used your persuasion skills, and let’s review it. Was what you did right? Could you have used it in a more effective way? What else could you have used?
- PLANNED: Show us ethically persuasive communication you’re developing, and share your thoughts on what you’ll be incorporating regarding persuasion skills.
- SUCCESS: Tell us about something you used that worked well.
- GOOD BY OTHERS: Share something you observed where you recognised persuasion was being used well.
- BAD BY OTHER: Share something you saw where persuasion was used unethically.
During the session, we will ask for the first two types of discussion topics first, because we’ll all learn the most from those.
Therefore, please come prepared.
- Think about something you already did that you’d like our input on.
- Think about something you’re about to do, that you’d like our input on.
Safe Space
The Applied Persuasion Roundtable is a space for learning, so feel safe to share. There are so many subtle nuances practitioners could forget; everyone learns from everyone’s successes and mishaps.
For other graduates of the Cialdini Certified Practitioner or Ethical Persuasion Practitioner program who would like to join us for 90 days, contact us.
I look forward to seeing you at a future Applied Persuasion Roundtable.
